Welcome to the Inglewood Police Department

The Inglewood Police Department employs about 221 sworn personnel and about 128 civilian support personnel.  The Department consists of multiple resources, such as specially trained canines, enforcement units, forensics, investigators, a bike team, public relations, fiscal services, recruitment, vice and narcotics.

This year the City of Inglewood is celebrating its Centennial Anniversary.  The City and the Police Department were chartered on February 14, 1908.  History has definitely played a significant role in the Department’s badge designs, patrol vehicles and police motorcycles.  For more information on our history and Centennial events, click on our Centennial Badge and capture a moment in time.
